I’m obsessed with storytelling. Whether it’s bringing scenes to life through my art or creating whole worlds on a page, my love for all things fiction runs deep. When I’m not at my desk, you can find me watching anime, cooking for my beautiful family, and cuddling with my kitty Sancho.

From the Classroom to the Page

As an English teacher, nothing brought me grater happiness than helping writers grow in their craft and share their stories. Now, with training and experience, I’ve expanded my horizons. Today, I continue to bring that same compassion and love of literature to my own business.

A New Perspective

After being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease in April of 2024, I was forced to remember that we can’t do it all. With my symptoms, the things I could do started to become less and less. I had to reevaluate my career path and reset my priorities. I’d always dreamed of becoming a freelance editor after a decade or two of teaching, but in a strange way, the universe sped up the process.

As an editor, I get to help writers perfect their work and comb through the fine details with empathy and high standards, just as I did in the classroom.
